Honda is planning to establish a major center in India for the export of electric SUVs and EVs in the future, as several updates are emerging regarding Honda’s powerful electric SUV. The Honda ACE Project could introduce an impressive range of Asian compact electric vehicles.

According to reports from AutoCar India, the Asian Compact Electric Project will be ready by 2026. Furthermore, 50 to 70% of the vehicles produced in India will be exported worldwide, alongside Japan. The annual units of this magnificent EV model, codenamed DG9D, could be increased up to 1 lakh.

Based on recent news, Honda’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan is in talks about Honda’s retailing for EV production, which could potentially start by 2024. To boost EV production exports, Honda might request additional investment in the country to increase production capacity. Moreover, Honda is planning to double its exports by 2025. Foreign volume in this production could be increased from 30% to 40% for this Asian compact electric project.
